It was recorded between 2022 and 2024 across sessions in two California-based studios and Shirley Manson's bedroom. It was produced by the band and Billy Bush. Musically, Let All That We Imagine Be The Light departs from the socio-political ideas of No Gods No Masters (2021) with more optimistic lyrics and themes.
